"Emily and I wanted to let you know how entirely thrilled we were to see the wedding pictures. There were so many great
shots from the ceremony and the reception that we are finding it hard
to decide which ones to print! Thank you so much for capturing such
wonderful images of the day; you truly do amazing work."

Do you travel for weddings? |
Definitely. I love to travel. There is also no travel fee within a 45-minute drive. For anything over that, up to three hours each way, an additional mileage fee will apply. And for travel in excess of a three-hour drive, I'll just need two plane tickets and a hotel room. (I do love to travel, but not to drive all day). |

What does your fee include? |
The fee includes full service photography, which means we start with a consultation and end with an album that you can cherish forever. The initial stages, such as consultation, are important to help us work well together. With careful planning of the wedding day, I can learn who you are and what you expect from me. This way, you can relax, enjoy your wedding, and expect quality photographs. The fee may include such things as rehearsal dinner coverage and an engagement shoot, as well as complete coverage on the wedding day itself.
I will also have an assistant. Travel may also be included as outlined above. After the wedding, I use a professional lab to process the film or digital files. The prints are 4x6 archival original photographs in color and/or black and white. The images are numbered and placed chronologically into a handsome proof album. You will receive the proof album four weeks after the wedding.

We're planning to have our wedding in the Berkshires, but we're not from the area. Are there people/places that you recommend for their services? |
| |
Absolutely. I've been in this area for quite a while and have worked along side some terrific people and excellent businesses on all types of events. Also, by being the one who moves throughout the guests to capture the event, I get to hear first-hand reviews of the locations, flowers, caterers, planning, etc. click here for some suggested wedding resources.

How do you determine your fee? |
| |
When you inquire about booking me I will ask you a few questions about your wedding plans and wishes. I will then send you a package, tailored to your needs and budget. Everything is listed on my price sheets so there will be no surprises or hidden costs.

What about the formal posed shots? |
| |
My work is about the emotion and interaction between people and capturing the energy of the day. I think the most important shots are of the bride and groom together but I also think it's important to get some "family historical moments". Depending on the couple's wishes I will photograph group shots accordingly. I work quickly and try to do group shots as painlessly as possible. I think of a wedding as an action event, not a daylong portrait session, and I would rather capture the genuine joy of the event.
